Yes, to start. The free tier gives you one dinner every night, allergy and diet filtering (always check the label), the shopping list and hands-free cooking. Yaya Gemma+ works out the whole week ahead, with a scan after every shop. Yaya Gemma+ is €29.99/year (€2.50/month) or €4.99/month. The first 500 sign-ups get 3 months free.
Your data is only used to run Yaya Gemma. To choose your dinner, she relies on AI services, listed on our privacy page. We sell nothing and there are no ads. Yaya Gemma is an AI assistant, and it tells you so in the very first message.
Seven things run so you only do three. Yaya Gemma looks at your kitchen, leaves out what you've told it your household can't eat (always check the label), checks how busy your evening is, leans toward what needs using first, picks one dinner and walks you through it. You show it your kitchen, do the shop, and cook.
No. Take a photo of a receipt or a shelf. Yaya Gemma starts small and learns over time.
Yaya Gemma will be an iOS app, available on the App Store. It isn't out yet: leave your email and you'll get a message on launch day. No Android app yet.
Then Yaya Gemma works with what's left. It reads the shelves as well as the fridge, and whatever is genuinely missing goes on one list — ready before you need it.
Yes. Yaya Gemma uses AI to read your kitchen and suggest dinner. You're told this clearly when you first use it.
Say “not this one” and Yaya Gemma finds another — from what you already have.
We read what's in your kitchen and how busy your evening is — never what's in your calendar, and never anything about how you feel. Your household's allergy and diet information is used only to filter suggestions. Always check the label. We don't sell your data and we don't profile you beyond what the app needs to work.
There are no ads in the app, and nothing is shared with advertisers. Yaya Gemma also tells you in the very first message that it is an AI system.
